Reuben Phiri, MBA (Finalist), ACCA, CPA (MW) Dip. Business Studies

Reuben is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA Malawi), and a holder of a diploma in business studies. He has a passion for entrepreneurship which led him to pursue a Master of Business Administration qualification in the same filed. He is currently finalising His MBA studies in Entrepreneurship and is waiting for his results.

He is currently a finance manager in an engineering company, a position he has hed since 2007 and has served as company accountant for the same company for 12 years.

He has a wealth of practical skill and knowledge in accounting obtained from his duties as company accountant and later on as finance manager that has been obtained from a busy and complex accounting environment.

His combined accounting experience spans at least 20 years.

His impressive performance in industry is on the back of a solid background in auditing he spent a handsome 6 years having trained and practiced with Geo MacKenzie and later with KPMG, one of the global big four audit firms.

His solid practical experience is brought to the classroom in as he passionately teaches and lectures Managing finances. Enthusiastic about providing quality education he brings the practical experience of a live and busy accounting environment to the class room and makes the learning environment as insightful as ever!

He has memberships to the following professional bodies, Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), and The Society of Accountants in Malawi (socam)

Moffat Ngalande, CISA, ACCA CPA (MW) B Acc.

Moffat is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a Chartered and Certified public Accountant (ACCA, CPA Malawi) and a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (B Acc.).

Moffat is a seasoned auditor, working for the worlds largest audit firm PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is an Audit Manager with 8 years audit experience and counting! He is responsible for both financial audits and performs Information Technology audits for IT reliant companies and financial services clients in Malawi. He has used this practical experience to pioneer the first ever Certified Information Systems Auditor course in Malawi!

He approaches his work with a passion and brings the same passion to his two auditing subjects making his classes very exciting and practical!

He has memberships to the following professional bodies, Information Systems Control Association (ISACA), Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, and The Society of Accountants in Malawi

He now has 3 years teaching experience in various prominent colleges and is a lecturer in P7 - Advanced Audit and Assurance and the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) course. He is a regular contributor to the SOCAM Magazines and has contributed articles on Accounting and Information Technology.

He has also been involved in the quality control process of the Public Accountancy Examination Council (PAEC) exams and the review of the new Auditing syllabus for TC 7.

James. BA (PUB ADMIN), FCCA, MBA

James has a Masters in Business Administration, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and holds Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration

He is currently a Financial Controller in Industry

In like manner with all the other partners he is a well seasoned professional accountant.

He has a wealth of practical skill and knowledge in accounting obtained from a busy and complex accounting environment that have seen him rise to Financial Controller.
His combined experience spans at least 25 years, 13 of which he spent in industry gaining practical accounting and managerial experience.

He too has a solid audit background having spent 12 years in Public Accounting with one of Big Four firms.

He has memberships to the following professional bodies, Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), and The Society of Accountants in Malawi (SOCAM)

The directors have a wealth of combined practical accounting, managerial and teaching experience which they instil in the college and thus ensure that the staff complement is of an enviable quality. They are passionate about providing quality education to students and consider their role in education as a vital service to mother Malawi.
